UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County Class Update for March 1, 2014

On Saturday March 1, Amador County Master Gardeners will offer a free class on EARLY SPRING GARDENING – PREPARING FOR DELICIOUS VEGETABLES AND BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS. The class will cover suggested garden tasks for the month of March--seeding and transplanting cool weather vegetables, seed starting for your summer vegetables, and various flowers to plant in early spring. Special attention will be given to the seed starting process. We will also focus on the highly relevant aspect of setting up a drip system to water your plants, conserving precious water during these years of drought. This class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road in Jackson/Martell.
