Why Join 4-H
The 4-H Youth Development Program offers many fun and educational activities for its members. When you join a community club, you make new friends, learn about raising animals, get involved in making a difference in your community, be a leader, learn about public speaking and record keeping skills, participate in county fair and 4-H camp, create things for everyone to enjoy, and go on exciting trips!
4-H members choose projects that interest them. A variety of projects are offered including;
- animal care
- arts & crafts
- community service
- leadership, and much more.

Small Business, El Dorado Coffee & Tea Company partners with the El Dorado County 4-H Latrobe Outlanders club for ongoing fundraising.
4-H Wants You!
We are currently seeking volunteers to donate 2-3 hours a month helping youth explore their spark and passion. Being a 4-H volunteer is a rewarding experience for both the adult and the youth. Initial commitment is a few hours of training about learning styles and teaching techniques, fingerprinting, and an annual enrollment fee ($15 for 2012/13). (continue reading...)
